Religion in Israel and Covid - 19:
One of the many effects on religion due to coronvirus in Israel was a lock down during the high holidays (Yamim Noraim "Days of Awe", Rosh Hashanah "Jewish New Year", Yom Kippur "days of atonement") This lock down forced most of the residents to stay mostly at home due to an new outbreak of Coronavirus. During the time of the High holidays most religious Jews would have mass gatherings, family meetings and group prayers. underneath these new rules they must stay within 500 meter of their homes with exceptions only to work, walk, and shop for essentials.
